The Art of Metamorphosis

Where Chinese Zhezhi, Japanese Origami, and European minimalism meet.
The history of paper and paper folding is rich and diverse. Paper was invented in China around 105 AD by Cai Lun, revolutionizing communication and art. Chinese paper folding, or Zhezhi, originated in China, but it was Japan that developed it into the highly refined art of Origami. It was likely brought to Europe in the 12th century and today, both Zhezhi and Origami are important cultural traditions with distinct histories and techniques.
